If you are interested in the natural world and want to deepen your understanding of the rules that the physical world follows, you will enjoy this course. Studying Physics provides an excellent background for many degree courses, including Engineering, and is also an excellent preparation for a wide range of careers relating to science.

Coursework, comprised of two tasks:
Quality of measurement
Physics in use
A2 Units
The A-Level will then build upon these, with entry to the A2 dependent on success in the AS modules.

Module 5 - FIELDS AND PARTICLES (25% of the full A Level)

How will I study?
You will follow teacher led discussions, complete numerical tasks, carry out experiments, and research ideas. There will be a chance to attend study days, lectures and masterclasses.
What will I need to start the course?
The entry requirement for this course is a grade A*-B at GCSE in Double Science or Physics, and a grade A*-B at GCSE in Maths. We cannot accept students who have studied single award Science.
